Conference Speaker
Speaker at the Division of Counselling Psychology, British Psychological Society's (BPS) Annual Conference. I presented my doctoral research titled, 'Exploring Experiences of, and Responses to, Gender Discrimination for Women Leaders in Psychology' supervised by Tasim Martin and conducted through Glasgow Caledonian University.
CPD Developer and Workshop Facilitator
Commissioned by a large private Psychology firm, I developed and delivered a 6-hour CPD course for therapists on working competently therapeutically with autistic adults. This included the creation of several bite-sized pre-recorded presented slides, and the development and delivery of workshops to professionals.
Webinar Developer and Presenter
I have developed four 45-60 minute webinars and presented these live to the general public on the following topics: Healthy social media use; Autism and the workplace; How your favourite reality TV shows can teach you to spot the signs of an abusive relationship; Using techniques from compassion focused therapy to lift your low mood.
Working with Students
I have facilitated several postgraduate student and postdoctoral research seminars, and have formed one part of a panel of guest speakers for the University of Edinburgh's Psychology and Psychiatry Society careers event.
